Adam Bub fell in love with storytelling as a child. Any scrap of paper could be turned into a mini magazine, a comic book, a short story.
Adam would follow that creative calling when he studied a Bachelor of Arts (Honours Class I) in English at the University of Sydney. His early jobs included writing boardgame questions for Trivial Pursuit, film reviews for FilmInk Magazine and working as a staff writer for an LGBTQI+ publisher in Sydney.
But his big break came in one of the busiest digital newsrooms in Australia. At Nine Digital, Adam worked across Entertainment and Travel titles including Travel, Getaway and TV WEEK. In 2015, he became Deputy Editor of Entertainment.
Highlights included on-camera interviews with Taylor Swift, Will Smith and Hugh Jackman. Name-drops aside, Adam developed a deep knowledge of what it takes to produce high-quality content every day for an online audience of millions.
Moving into native content, Adam worked as Commercial Editor at Mamamia, Australia’s largest women’s independent media group, from 2017 to 2021. He managed branded content campaigns for 100s of leading brands including L’Oreal, Coles, Disney, Netflix, Stan, Toyota, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, Expedia, Stayz and Baileys. In 2020, Adam's work was recognised with Mamamia winning Branded Content for Studio of The Year at the 2020 Mumbrella Publish Awards.
In 2021, Adam joined Pinstripe Media, Australia's leading business, finance and tech content marketing and publishing company, as Commercial Editor. He is the now the Head of Commercial Media, producing TV shows, webinars, podcast and digital content for brands such as Kochie's Business Builders, Startup Daily and Flying Solo.
In his spare time, Adam loves creating content for his Instagram community, in partnership with brands such as MARCS Clothing, Superdry and Specsavers.
